ODPHP’s 2021 Healthy Aging Symposium

September 8-9, 2021

The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) and Trust for America’s Health are hosting the 2021 Healthy Aging Symposium.

During this free, 2-day virtual event, attendees will hear from researchers, local and state health officers, aging directors, and policymakers from across the nation who are making a positive impact in the lives of older adults and their families.

Attendees will learn about the latest science, best practices, and innovative interventions to improve older Americans’ health and well-being.

The symposium will focus on

  • Sharing the latest research and successful approaches to healthy aging
  • Connecting insights and ideas across sectors
  • Addressing barriers and reducing health disparities among older Americans
  • Building on lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic

Policy makers, researchers, and professionals from across sectors – including public health, aging services, healthcare, housing, education, transportation, justice, and recreation – will have the opportunity to connect and learn from each other. If you work to improve the lives of older adults, we hope you can join us.
