The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) selected IPRO as a Prime Awardee of the Network of Quality Improvement and Innovation Contractor (NQIIC) program.
Under this program, IPRO serves as a Quality Innovation Network–Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) and a Hospital Quality Improvement Contractor (HQIC).
About the IPRO QIN-QIO
The IPRO QIN-QIO brings together communities of healthcare providers across the care continuum, stakeholders, and patients in data-driven initiatives to achieve national health quality goals.
We focus on building effective coalitions that connect community stakeholders to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality, coordinated, and patient-centered care.
IPRO, along with two other established and successful QIOs—Healthcentric Advisors, and Qlarant—conducts this work in New England, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
About the IPRO HQIC
The IPRO HQIC provides targeted quality improvement assistance to small, rural, and critical access hospitals and additional hospitals identified by CMS as requiring technical assistance. Our technical support helps hospitals ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care for all Medicare beneficiaries.
IPRO is joined by the following organizations to carry out this work: Healthcentric Advisors, Qlarant, Q3 Health Innovation Partners, Kentucky Hospital Association, and Superior Health Quality Alliance. In addition, we offer the expertise of the American Institutes for Research—nationally-recognized experts in patient and family engagement (PFE)—to support you in implementing PFE best practices.
