Scholarship & Abstract Awards

Scholarships are now available for the Anticoagulation Forum’s 16th National Conference, which will be held in-person in San Francisco, CA from October 28-30, 2021, as well as broadcast virtually. This forum provides the largest venue for open discussion and education on advances in anticoagulant therapy and improved patient care.

As an organization, the AC Forum is working to increase awareness and promote diversity in leadership, membership, and programming. As part of this initiative, we are pleased to offer scholarships to our National Conference to support the ongoing education of clinicians from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups.

All awards include

  • Complementary registration to National Conference (minimum $345 value)
  • Travel stipend of $1,500 to cover transportation and lodging.
    • Individuals must attend the conference in-person to receive the travel stipend and lodging arrangements must be made at the conference hotel

Eligibility

Applicants must be clinicians from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups OR (for abstract research award) a clinician conducting research on racial health disparities.
