Our COVID-19 Workshop Series continues on Thursdays, 10:30 – 11:00 am.

Our May 28 workshop will feature Dr. Sarah Sy, Geriatric Diabetes Fellow in Boston, MA, who will provide insights about caring for older adults with diabetes living in long-term care facilities. Join us to improve your knowledge in:

  • Recognizing the challenges of diabetes management in LTC during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Appreciating the importance of individualized glycemic goals for the patients
  • Implementing management strategies for patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes

Dr Sy is currently a Geriatric Diabetes Fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

She completed her training in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
