Our session yesterday on Wednesday, August 14 discussing the SNF QRP was a success! Here are some follow-up notes that we would like to provide:
- The notices that went out ask for data from January 1 to March 31 (CY Q1 2024). See the language below:
- “We are reaching out to remind you of the upcoming August 15, 2024 submission deadline for the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Quality Reporting Program (QRP). SNF Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessment data and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage among Healthcare Personnel (HCP) data for January 1 – March 31 (Q1) of calendar year (CY) 2024 is due.”
- Run your Provider Threshold Report to see if you met the 90% threshold on your MDS submissions. You can then run an error report to see which residents specifically are triggering your MDS errors. You should be able to search or filter for the following errors to get to what you need to adjust:

- Error # 3897
- Error # 3891
