The Patient, Family, and Care Partner Advisor (PFCA) Toolkit: Your Voice Matters

IPRO NQIIC INVITES YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN A WEBINAR
The Patient, Family, and Care Partner Advisor (PFCA) Toolkit: Your Voice Matters

The demand for Patient, Family, and Care Partner Advisors (PFCAs) in healthcare is growing exponentially. We invite you to learn more about our new Patient, Family, and Care Partner Advisor Toolkit.

The toolkit was co-created with IPRO patient advisors, Janice Tufte and Rosie Bartel, to equip PFCAs with tools and resources for their voices to be heard powerfully and effectively. Serving as a guide for patients, families, care partners, clinicians, quality improvement teams, and community and healthcare organizations to effectively engage with decision-makers at all levels of the healthcare ecosystem, this toolkit will help to ensure that PFCA voices are integrated into policy and practices.

In this webinar you will learn:

  • What a patient, family, or care partner advisor (PFCA) is.
  • Information and opportunities for PFCAs in healthcare systems, quality improvement, research, measurement, and policy advising.
  • Resources for starting your journey as a PFCA or deepening your knowledge and expanding opportunities if you are an experienced PFCA.
  • Ideas on starting or re-building a PFCA Council for organizations and how to incorporate PFCAs into quality improvement projects.
