IPRO Short Sessions: Collaborating for Equity: Establishing an Organizational Commitment to Health Equity

Join IPRO for a six-session health equity series focused on topics that align with Priority 3 of the CMS Framework for Health Equity, Build Capacity of Health Care Organizations and the Workforce to Reduce Health and Health Care Disparities. Within Priority 3, CMS states that “Each interaction with a member of a health care team, whether clinical, behavioral, social, or administrative, is another opportunity to make someone’s health care, and health status, better.

However, health care professionals across settings must be equipped with resources and knowledge of what works to reduce disparities.”

In each 30-minute session, IPRO will discuss priority equity topics and promising practices to assist health care organizations identify and address health disparities. IPRO will weave in recent updates to CMS’ prospective payment system rules and health equity measures that serve to advance health equity across Medicare programs.
