The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted challenges healthcare providers face managing concurrent disasters, and the lasting effects of disaster-related trauma on both patients and staff. IPRO established an Emergency Preparedness Task Force as a proactive approach to no-cost continuous education and the rapid identification of incidents that impact public health and healthcare delivery across its service area.
