The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) and Trust for America’s Health are hosting the 2021 Healthy Aging Symposium.
During this free, 2-day virtual event, attendees will hear from researchers, local and state health officers, aging directors, and policymakers from across the nation who are making a positive impact in the lives of older adults and their families.
Attendees will learn about the latest science, best practices, and innovative interventions to improve older Americans’ health and well-being.
The symposium will focus on
- Sharing the latest research and successful approaches to healthy aging
- Connecting insights and ideas across sectors
- Addressing barriers and reducing health disparities among older Americans
- Building on lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic
Policy makers, researchers, and professionals from across sectors – including public health, aging services, healthcare, housing, education, transportation, justice, and recreation – will have the opportunity to connect and learn from each other.
