COVID-19 Workshop on May 14: NHSN COVID-19 Module for Long-Term Care Facilities

Thursday, May 14, 2020, 10:30-11am

Our COVID-19 Workshop Series continues on Thursdays, 10:30 – 11:00 am.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) created a module within the web-based National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) reporting system for long-term care facilities (LTCFs) to enter COVID-19 data. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) mandates this reporting to the CDC.

This webinar provides an overview of how to enroll in and report data for the NHSN COVID-19 module, reviews CDC resources, and offers a discussion of how the IPRO QIN-QIO can best support LTCFs in complying with this requirement. There will be time allotted for Q&A.
