Enable your Patients to “Discover the Power of Nutrition!”

March is National Nutrition Month, and March 11 marks Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day!

This is an ideal moment to leverage the proven clinical impact of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for Medicare beneficiaries with chronic disease.

MNT delivered by Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) improves blood glucose control, blood pressure, lipid management, and weight-related outcomes. RDNs help patients navigate complex dietary needs, improve self-management skills, and sustain long-term behavior change. Early nutrition intervention can reduce complications, hospitalizations, and disease progression.

Have you referred all eligible Medicare patients with diabetes and/or chronic kidney disease for MNT this year?

Our subject matter experts in MNT, chronic disease care, and patient engagement can help ensure you confidently have the best practice answers you need as a partner in the Mid-Atlantic CMS QIN-QIO initiative.
