The National Quality Forum’s (NQF) Measure Applications Partnership (MAP) Call for Nominations for organizations and individual subject matter experts is open. The MAP is a public-private partnership convened by NQF, funded by a contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), to provide input to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on the selection of performance measures for public reporting and performance-based payment programs.
The MAP’s pre-rulemaking work is conducted by the Coordinating Committee, the Clinician Workgroup, the Hospital Workgroup, the Post-Acute Care/Long-Term Care (PAC/LTC) Workgroup, and the Rural Health Workgroup.
NQF seeks a range of expertise on the MAP to ensure that critical and diverse stakeholder perspectives are represented across settings and populations. Patient and consumer stakeholders are particularly encouraged to apply. Feedback directly from patient advocates is critical to the success of quality programs administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, such as those found in the Care-Compare Program.
Complete information and nomination requirements are available in the Call for Nominations posted on the MAP webpage.
All nominations must be submitted via the nomination submission form by Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 6:00pm ET.
Please contact the NQF MAP staff with any questions at mapcoordinatingcommittee@qualityforum.org.
