Take 30 minutes and let us share information and resources to disrupt the substance use epidemic in our communities. We need the support of primary care practitioners to make a difference. Tosin David, PharmD, will bring you current information on the CDC Pain Management Guidelines and review MAT Act along with other regulations to improve access to care. We will highlight two guides that will assist in reimbursement and finding resources related to the social determinants of health that many patients are challenged with. Come help us make a difference.

Objectives:

1. Highlight updates to the CDC Pain Management Guidelines
2. Review how the MAT Act and other regulations that will improve access to care
3. Understand the intersection of social determinants of health and substance use disorder

The goal is to enhance community health and focus on CMS quality goals: reduce opioid misuse, increase prevention and management of chronic conditions, enhance care coordination, further immunizations, support emergency preparedness and improve infection control practices.
