Stop Sepsis Now

Sepsis is the body’s extreme response to an infection. It is a life-threatening medical emergency.  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, at least 1.7 million adults in America develop sepsis each year. Nearly 270,000 Americans die as a result of sepsis.

The IPRO QIN-QIO developed a Community-Based Sepsis Train-the-Trainer Program to increase public community and healthcare provider awareness regarding the importance of early recognition of sepsis’ signs and symptoms and the need to treat sepsis as a medical emergency.
