SNF Skill Squad: Understanding the “Science” of the STARs

Leaders, new and old within nursing homes understand the 5 STAR system at a high level, but often don’t realize or understand the nuances and “science” behind the 5 STAR rating. In this session, we will dive deeper into the quality measure (QM) rating.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand and explore resources for the 5 STAR system, specifically the QM rating
2. Learn about the QMs and how residents trigger them
3. Learn how to identify areas of improvement
