In addition\, we will discuss the hospice management of end stage dementia and how collaborating with your hospice team can reduce antipsychotic use. In this session\, we will: \n\nDefine terminal delirium.\nDescribe strategies for managing terminal delirium without antipsychotic medications.\nIdentify circumstances when antipsychotic medications can be gradually discontinued in end-stage dementia.
